    • Rehearsal - we'll go through how to walk, where to walk, how to stand, where to stand, and what to say during the hour long rehearsl.
    • Customized Ceremony - the sky is the limit! We'll work with you to create your perfect ceremony with no limits or requirements. Your ceremony will be as unique as the two of you and the love that you share.
Officiant Timeline

There are a few key things that need to happen before your ceremony. Here's our recommended timeline (assuming you've chosen a package that includes pre-ceremony planning):

  • 6-12 Months Before: Book your Officiant.
  • Immediately After Booking: Your Officiant will begin the ceremony planning process by sending you a sample ceremony. This is the 'template' we use to plan your actual ceremony and it becomes a working ceremony document. Feel free to add to it, remove from it, or tweak it to meet your needs. We also recommend checking out some of our other sample ceremonies as well as visiting other online ceremony resources such as weddings.about.com or theknot.com. You can go back and forth via e-mail, phone, or in-person meeting to continue the planning process.
  • One Month Before: Meet with your Officiant in person to finalize the ceremony and double-check the details.
  • Three Weeks Before: Apply for your marriage license.
  • Two Days Before: Expect a call or e-mail from your Officiant confirming the rehearsal details
  • One Day Before: Attend the rehearsal, confirm the ceremony details
  • The Big Day: Enjoy your wedding:
  • The First Business Day After: Your Officiant will submit the license to the local Register of Deeds
  • One Week After: You can request copies of your license from your local county Vital Records or Register of Deeds. Once you have your copies you can begin the name change process.
